Ice Cube's "When Will They Shoot?" is one of the best songs I've heard this year. Too bad I'm about thirteen years late, and that I'm one of the white devils Cube rails against.
Fuck it.
Why have Ice Cube, the Geto Boys, NWA, and, as of tonight, good ol' 3rd Bass and Digital Underground been my writing music of choice lately? None of them have shit to do with Unheimlich, but hey, results are results, right?

I played the demo for this last night, several times, because it demands it. most sweet. a strange new adventure game, with euro-style as both a positive and a negative, angelo badalamenti music, and it's pretty damn sweet.

i am salivating now. i played through the demo, maybe five times. first thing is an odd introduction by the game's writer/director, in game, in scene, explaining what's going on... then you control this guy as he has to deal with covering up a murder/ritual thing in a diner bathroom, all in real time, before he gets busted by a cop who comes in. there are a bunch of things you can do in the bathroom/diner, all of which are all really thought out... but i guess it gets even more crazy after the demo ends, because you control all sorts of characters, even two cops who are after his ass, and have to track him down by finding all the clues he leaves behind, which you're trying to do you best to conceal just moments before... pretty wicked stuff, very quality. nice little jump out of nowhere title, but i'm hopeful because these are the dudes who did a really old great pc action/adventure game called omikron:the nomad soul, complete with gratuitious digital david bowie.
